Ever wanted to set and lock the process priority of a particular program? Yes, I know you can do this with task manager but some apps change this by themselves (VMware comes to mind). This program will stop that.

- Start Regedit
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
- Once there, locate Beep on the list on the right.
- Right click on it and select Modify
- Change the value equal to no
- Reboot your computer and the beeps will be gone!
You can Ctrl+C (copy) on alert boxes to put the contents into the clipboard.
Very useful for when an error window comes up.
If you are running XP you are probably running MSN Messenger 8 (maybe 7). You might as well get rid of the old Windows Messenger (MSN 5.x)
